A bit about me!

Home

I am a Fellow and Examiner with the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) Professional Teachers of Dance qualified to teach Highland, Ballet, Tap, Scottish Country, Freestyle, Cheerleading and Western Line.

I am an adjudicator with the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing (SOBHD)and can adjudicate world wide.

I have been a successful competitive Highland Dancer since the age of 7 and have competed at Competitions, Championships and Highland Games throughout the world.

My greatest competitive accolade was being named Champion of Champions in 1992,I was taught to this standard by the McKay School of Dancing.

In 2002 I decided to retire from competitive Highland Dancing to allow myself to be placed on the Full Worldwide Judging Panel. Although I made this decision reluctantly I felt it was best to retire whilst still being amongst the prize-winners. During my last season I won Thornton, Alva, Tobermory, Dornoch, Strathpeffer, Ceres and Grantown on Spey Highland Games.

I was honoured to be invited to judge the Canadian Championships in St. Katherines in July 2003 and most recently the Champion of Champions Event in Melbourne, Australia in April 2004.
